More than 11,700 coronavirus patients identified in Iran over the past 24 hours

The Iranian Ministry of Health announced that more than 11,700 patients infected with the coronavirus were identified in Iran over the past 24 hours, and 239 patients lost their lives during the same period.

According to official statistics from the Ministry of Health, the total number of coronavirus patients in Iran has reached about 5.56 million. Also, according to these official statistics, the total number of deaths from the disease has reached about 120,000.

The official statistics announced by the Ministry of Health have been repeatedly questioned by experts and members of parliament.

Currently, 29 cities in Iran are in red status, 224 cities in orange status, 165 cities in yellow status, and 30 cities in blue status.
