"Three" cases of South African mutant coronavirus identified in Iran

Iran's Health Minister announced that three people have been infected with the South African mutant coronavirus in one of the country's southern provinces.
Saeed Namaki said on Tuesday, May 27, that last night we reported that three cases of the South African virus had been observed in one of the southern provinces, and we are following up on this with retesting methods to confirm it.
He also said that given that I was aware of the presence and spread of the South African and Brazilian viruses in neighboring countries, we had correspondence to prohibit entry and exit from neighboring countries, but the issues were not followed up properly.
Iran on Tuesday banned the sale of airline tickets to 15 countries, including South Africa and several other African countries.
Mr. Namaki says that we are also hearing about the Indian mutant virus. "We are testing all Indian and Pakistani nationals, and yesterday we evaluated cases of Indians infected with the coronavirus in one of the cities, and we hope that these people are not infected with the Indian mutant virus."
According to the Iranian Minister of Health, many vaccines have not worked against this virus, and if they do, it will be a short-lived response.
He also predicted that the number of deaths from Corona in the country will increase in the coming days.
