Evidence available to identify the killer of "Kian Pirfalk"

The evidence that Parham Ghobadi refers to identifies the killer of Kian Pirfalk.

Kian Pirfalak was shot dead on November 15, 1401 (November 25, 1402) in the city of Izeh, and his father was also shot and injured, so much so that after several months and various surgeries, he is still bedridden and unable to walk.

The Islamic Republic government was looking for people to blame for the murder of Kian and a number of others who were killed that night and to punish them. In the meantime, Abbas (Mujahid) Korkouri was introduced as a terrorist and Kian's murderer and was sentenced to death. The death sentence for Mujahid Korkouri was issued despite the Pirfalak family having repeatedly stated that none of the people of Izeh were involved in Kian's murder, but rather that the regime forces had shot at them.

Now, BBC Persian correspondent Parham Ghobadi has put together the puzzles and evidence to identify the killer of Kian Pirfalk. In a video that Parham Ghobadi posted online discussing Kian's murder, he also shared the words of Kian's father, who reported a commander of the Revolutionary Guards, whose forces had fired on them.

In this video, Kian's father, while declaring that he has no complaints against the people of Izeh, refers to General Idi Alipour and states that he and his wife saw with their own eyes that forces under the command of General Alipour shot at them.

Parham Ghobadi also reveals the identity of "Eidi Alipour" and introduces him in full. A close relative of Pirfalak's family also identifies and confirms Eidi Alipour's identity the night after the incident when they went to visit Pirfalak's family.

Ali Molaei was also among those killed in Izeh, who lost his life after being shot twice in the head while in his car. Ali Molaei was also killed alongside his wife, and his wife witnessed the shooting of Ali Molaei. Ali's wife took him out of the car and dragged him into an alley to protect him from the gunfire, but after a short while a police car arrived and ordered them to be taken to the police station to die there. Ali Molaei's wife stated that "Hossein Saeedi" and "Mahmoud Ahmadi" saved them.

According to Parham Ghobadi, after the killing of Kian and six other citizens in Izeh, Mujahid Korkoori, Hossein Saeedi, and Mahmoud Ahmadi took up arms to avenge the deaths of those killed. In December, they attacked the house where Mujahid, Hossein, and Mahmoud were staying, killed Hossein Saeedi and Mahmoud Ahmadi, and arrested Mujahid and Hooman Saydali. It should be noted that the bodies of Hossein Saeedi and Mahmoud Ahmadi have not been returned to their families after several months, and no information is available about their bodies.

After their arrest, the government blamed Mujahid Korkouri for the murder of Kian and six citizens of Izeh, and the judiciary issued him a death sentence without considering the testimony of the families of all the victims. According to Parham Ghobadi, none of the victims’ families were present in court. The judiciary attributed the murder to Mujahid Korkouri, citing CCTV footage, while on the night of Kian Pirfalak’s murder, CCTV footage from nearby shops was recorded by security forces, and the judiciary has not released any of the footage.

Parham Ghobadi's full report on the killing of Kian and the citizens of Izeh can be seen in the video below.

Members of the Bakhtiari tribe also reacted strongly to the death sentence of Mujahid Korkouri. Not only the people of Izeh, but all the people of Iran know that Mujahid Korkouri is nothing more than an innocent man who has fallen prey to the rotten and twisted scenario of the Islamic Republic system. A system that tramples the innocent in order to maintain itself.
