Mohseni-Eje’s Electoral Directives to Judicial Officials

Mohseni-Eje, Head of the Judiciary, announced directives to judicial officials for conducting the upcoming elections.

Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje, Head of the Judiciary, delivered remarks regarding the elections on the 11th of Esfand during yesterday’s Monday session of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary and issued directives to all judicial officials and authorities.

He began his remarks by congratulating the birth of Imam al-Mahdi and Soldiers Day, stating: “The blessed celebration of the birth of His Eminence, the Greatest Remainder of God, was held with security and full grandeur in different parts of Islamic Iran, as always. We thank the Almighty for this, and we appreciate all security forces, particularly the unknown soldiers in the Ministry of Intelligence and other security agencies, including the Intelligence of the Revolutionary Guards, the Counterintelligence Organization of Iran, and the Basij, who continuously work day and night to strengthen the security of citizens of Islamic Iran. In recent weeks, the enemy has made significant efforts to create insecurity in the country, but these enemy plots were thwarted by the efforts of unknown soldiers and all security sectors.”

He referred to the 11th of Esfand, which is the date for holding elections for the sixth term of the Assembly of Experts and the twelfth term of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and considering these two elections important and sensitive, he added: “I order all judicial officials and authorities throughout the country to take all necessary measures to help ensure the health and security of the elections on the 11th of Esfand and to cooperate fully with relevant sectors in various agencies, including the Ministry of Interior, election observers, the Counterintelligence Organization, and security forces. Also, until election day, judges stationed and on duty in their respective judicial branches shall maintain continuous presence, and upon receiving any report indicating the occurrence of election violations or crimes, the relevant judicial authority must immediately intervene in the matter and not allow time to pass so that the negative effects of the crime remain in society. If the matter is preventable, necessary measures shall be taken in cooperation with the Prevention of Crime Deputy of the Judiciary.”

Referring to different groups in society, he emphasized: “All parties, political groups, minorities, and different sections of the people with different tastes and perspectives are ready to hold a magnificent election. In this process, our enemies have made maximum efforts to take control of the scene and prevent the holding of a proper election. Some ignorant elements, knowingly or unknowingly, are engaged in cooperation with the enemy and are promoting false allegations. Of course, our discerning and faithful people will certainly not be influenced by these false allegations and by their presence at the ballot boxes on the 11th of Esfand, once again will honor the celebration of religious democracy.”
