Sentence of 75 years in prison for translator and member of the Rah-e-Marafet Institute

Marjan Davari, a 52-year-old translator imprisoned in Qarchak Prison in Varamin, has been sentenced to 75 years in prison, 25 of which will be suspended. Davari was arrested four years ago in connection with the Rahma'raft Institute case and on charges of promoting the Akkankar movement.
Marjan Davari, a translator and researcher who was sentenced to death in the fall of 2015 after being arrested along with Karim Zargar, a former director of the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation, was acquitted of the death penalty today, Saturday, February 16, 2019, and sentenced to 75 years in prison in another case.
Marjan Davari, a 52-year-old researcher, is currently in Qarchak Prison in Varamin.
Referring to Arvari's conviction in Branch 1 of the Criminal Court, HRANA News Agency writes that by applying Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code, 25 years of the translator's 75-year prison sentence will be applicable.
According to the verdict, Marjan Davari has been sentenced to 75 years in prison for "being an accessory to committing three counts of adultery by force."
This researcher was acquitted of execution by Branch 23 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court in another case in which he had previously been sentenced to death on charges of "corruption on earth, illicit relations, gathering and collusion against the system, and membership in the mystical sect of Akkankar."
Marjan Davari's death sentence was overturned by the Supreme Court's General Board in December of this year and referred to this branch for a retrial. In December of last year, the prisoner's sentence was overturned for the second time by the Supreme Court.
Marjan Davari, according to HRANA, is a translator of books on esoteric and divine sciences and the Illuminati, and a researcher at the Institute for Metaphysical Studies and Research on the Path of Knowledge.
In October 2015, with the closure and arrest of the officials of the aforementioned institution, Ms. Davari was also arrested by security forces. She was charged with “corruption on earth, illicit relations, gathering and colluding against the regime, and membership in the mystical sect of Akkankar.” She was sentenced to death along with Karim Zargar, the other defendant in the case, by Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Salavati.
Karim Zargar, former head of the Faculty of Radio and Television of Iran, born in 1953 in Ahvaz, graduated in judicial law from the Faculty of Law of Tehran University and received a PhD in maritime law from the University of Strasbourg, France. In 2015, along with Marjan Davari, he was sentenced to death in connection with the propaganda and promotion of the newly emerging mystical movement "Akonkar" on charges including "corruption on earth" and was executed on February 1, 2017 in Rajai Shahr Prison, Karaj.
Marjan Davari was born on May 26, 1966, and graduated from Al-Zahra University in Tehran with a degree in graphic design. She has translated books such as "The Claw of Time" by Paul Twitchell, "The Seeker" by Phil Morimitsu, and "Spiritual Exercises" by Harold Klump, which have been published in Iran with the permission of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
