Amnesty International calls for the immediate release of Esmaeil Bakhshi and Sepideh Qolyan

Raha Bahreini, a researcher at Amnesty International, criticized the re-arrest of Esmaeil Bakhshi and Sepideh Qolyan, saying that security officials are trying to prevent workers from exercising their rights by creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation.

In part of her interview with Radio Farda, Raha Bahreini criticized the broadcast of the program "Burnt Design" and announced that Amnesty International is concerned about the situation of Ms. Qolyan and Mr. Bakhshi, adding: "They are at risk of further torture and ill-treatment."

Amnesty International's Iran researcher said the organization calls on Iranian authorities to immediately release Esmaeil Bakhshi and Sepideh Qolyan and provide a platform for workers to voice their demands in a peaceful environment.
