According to the report, the victim's wife attempted suicide after attempting the murder, but was "immediately transferred to Nekoei Hospital in Qom and treated."

Colonel Valiullah Torabi said about the incident: “Around 30:25 PM today, a 30-year-old man shot and killed his 24-year-old wife.”

Torabi added: "This murder was committed with a handgun, and an investigation is underway into how the attacker obtained this weapon."

The reason for this action is stated to be family disputes.
