Syrian opposition: We received new Grad missiles from foreign governments

Foreign governments have delivered Grad surface-to-surface missiles to Syrian fighters in response to recent Russian-backed airstrikes on the city of Aleppo, Reuters news agency reported on Wednesday, citing a commander of forces opposed to Bashar al-Assad.
The news agency quoted Colonel Fares Al-Bayoush as saying that the commanders of the opposition forces in Damascus have been handed over Grad missiles with ranges of 20 and 40 kilometers in large quantities. He added that these missiles will be used on the front lines of the battle in Aleppo.
According to Colonel Al-Biyoush, although the opposition forces had previously been armed with Grad missiles, the new shipment includes a different type of these missiles that had not previously reached the forces.
The opposition forces in Damascus, which are fighting against Syrian government forces under the name of the Free Syrian Army, have received military weapons from governments opposed to Assad. These shipments reach the opposition through a coordination office in Turkey and with US support.
