Six thousand people visit Tehran hospitals and 400 are hospitalized with coronavirus

The commander of the coronavirus response headquarters in Tehran says that on Wednesday, 6,390 people visited hospitals in the capital, and about 400 of them were hospitalized.
Alireza Zali said: "The number of people referred to medical wards today was 6,390, which is a significant number, and of this number, about 312 people required hospitalization in general wards and 81 patients were hospitalized in special wards of Tehran hospitals."
Mr. Zali did not announce the condition of those who were not hospitalized and whether they had symptoms of coronavirus.
He said the number of new cases has a "gentle upward slope."
In recent days, medical officials in a number of Iranian provinces, including Azerbaijan and Mazandaran, have expressed concern about a second wave of the coronavirus outbreak after some restrictions were lifted.
However, Health Minister Saeed Namaki said on Wednesday that the number of daily cases had decreased by 53 percent and the number of deaths by 30 percent.
Previously, some members of parliament and city council have accused the Ministry of Health of concealing the number of deaths and infections from the coronavirus.
