Mehdi Nasiri: The day Mahsa was killed, all of humanity was killed

Mehdi Nasiri, the former director of Kayhan, said regarding Mahsa's death: "The day Mahsa was killed, all of humanity was killed."

Mehdi Nasiri was the former editor-in-chief of Kayhan newspaper, one of the hardline media outlets in the Islamic Republic. In recent years, he has taken critical positions against the Leader of the Islamic Republic and the performance of Iranian officials.

After attending the grave of Mahsa Amini, he considered her killing the origin of the revolution of women, life, and freedom, and declared that the day Mahsa was killed, all of humanity was killed.

A video of him has been published on social media, in which he says the following about Mahsa's death and the death of humanity: "We are at the grave of the human being, Hazrat Mahsa." We know that when God considers a single human being to measure his value, he sets this unit as all of humanity. That is, the value of one human being is equivalent to the value of all of humanity. For this reason, if someone kills an innocent person, it is as if he has killed all of humanity, and accordingly, the day Mahsa was killed, all of humanity was killed.

"This martyrdom also has another angle, and it became the source of the rise of a revolutionary movement called Women, Life, Freedom, which established a new chapter in Iran."

According to Mr. Nasiri, a movement has begun that will continue. He added: "We are at the grave of the Iranian girl to seek help from the spirit of this girl to continue this movement and the freedom and prosperity of Iran."
