Mawlawi Abdul Hamid: Justice must be served in the "Bloody Friday" case

In his Friday prayer sermons, Maulvi Abdul Hamid announced that justice must be served in the "Bloody Friday" case.

Today, Friday, November 3, Mawlavi Abdul Hamid, the Imam of the Sunni Friday prayer in Zahedan, during a speech after Friday prayers, while referring to the anniversary of the Bloody Friday in Khash, announced that the Iranian people's demand is justice and punishment for the perpetrators and commanders of this incident.

According to Amnesty International reports, on "Bloody Friday" which occurred on November 13, 1401, regime forces targeted protesting people with live ammunition, killing more than 18 worshippers and passersby, including two children, and wounding dozens. However, the Revolutionary Guards identified the "Army of Justice" group as responsible for these attacks.

Images released today also indicate the presence of military forces around the Makki Mosque in Zahedan and the city of Khash, which has created a tight security atmosphere in the city.

Molavi Abdul Hamid emphasized the vital importance of justice and freedom in Iran and continued: "Existing discrimination and inequalities must be eliminated, and by tolerating criticism, political prisoners, including writers, journalists, and literary figures, must be released."

After the start of nationwide protests in various cities of Iran and the attacks by regime elements on protesters in Zahedan and Khash, which turned the area into a bloody Friday with mass killings, including of children, people in various cities of Sistan and Baluchestan have been present at the scene of demonstrations every Friday, despite the escalating pressures and security situation, and continue to protest until justice is served.
