First Israeli airline flight from Tel Aviv to Abu Dhabi

The flight of the Israeli El Al plane to Abu Dhabi is considered the first important step in the implementation of the peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Israeli media has called the flight historic. The plane passes over Saudi Arabia.
Two weeks after the unexpected announcement of a peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, a plane carrying a high-ranking Israeli and American delegation will land at Abu Dhabi Airport on Monday, August 31 (September 10).
In a related report from Tel Aviv, the AFP reported that Jared Kushner, Donald Trump's son-in-law and advisor on Middle East affairs, as well as Meir Ben-Shabbat, Israel's national security adviser, will also be traveling to the United Arab Emirates on the aforementioned plane.
The Israeli airline El Al is the first Israeli aircraft to land at Abu Dhabi airport. Furthermore, the plane has to fly over Saudi Arabia to fly from Tel Aviv to Abu Dhabi. In this sense, it is the first Israeli aircraft to enter Saudi airspace.
The purpose of the historic flight to Abu Dhabi
The peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates covers various areas of cooperation between the two countries. It has been said that various Israeli representatives will accompany the country's national security advisor on this flight.
Among other things, it has been said that the two countries are going to cooperate in the fields of aviation, tourism, trade, medical and healthcare, energy, as well as security issues.
It should be noted that the United Arab Emirates is the third Arab country, after Egypt and Jordan, to have taken steps towards normalizing its relations with Israel.
Netanyahu and the peace agreement with the Arabs
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at a press conference on Sunday, August 30, after meeting with the American delegation, about Israel's "secret negotiations" with other Arab countries.
The Israeli Prime Minister has said that diplomatic efforts are underway to sign a peace agreement with other Arab countries.
The Israeli newspaper "Haaretz" has also published a detailed report on the conversations between Jared Kushner, Donald Trump's Middle East advisor, with the Israeli President and the country's Minister of Defense.
Netanyahu told Kushner on the eve of his flight to Abu Dhabi: "The Palestinians have long had the right to veto a peace treaty between Israel and the Arab world. If we were to wait for them to do something like that, we would have to wait forever."
Jared Kushner once again spoke of Donald Trump's Middle East peace plan as a realistic and fair plan, and stated to the Palestinians, "If they are ready to reach a peace agreement, this chance is now available to them."
Kushner also praised the courage of UAE Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed, calling him a “forward-thinking leader.” Donald Trump’s Middle East adviser has praised the UAE-Israel peace deal as a model for other Arab countries.
