Israeli Officials Call on Iranian People to Fight Against Islamic Republic

Israeli officials have announced a call to the Iranian people to fight against the Islamic Republic regime.

Senior Israeli officials issued coordinated messages on Tuesday, August 12, calling on the Iranian people to act against the Islamic Republic government while simultaneously promising access to advanced water technology.

In these messages, Benjamin Netanyahu, the current Prime Minister of Israel, while alluding to water, electricity, poverty, and inflation crises in Iran, began his remarks as follows: “Greetings from Jerusalem to the noble people of Iran. Your leaders imposed a 12-day war on us and suffered heavy losses. They always lie, but sometimes involuntarily speak the truth.”

Referring to remarks made by Masoud Pezeshkian a few days earlier about the water and electricity situation in Iran, Netanyahu added: “Pezeshkian said we have problems with water, electricity, money, and inflation—what problem don’t we have? By September and October this year, there will be no water left behind the dams.” Netanyahu continued: “Yes, that’s true. Everything is collapsing. In this scorching summer, you don’t even have clean, cool water for your children—this is the height of hypocrisy.

It is a blatant disrespect to the people of Iran. You don’t deserve such a situation. Your children don’t deserve such conditions either. But I have very good news. Israel ranks first in the world in water recycling. We treat and reuse ninety percent of our wastewater. We are also pioneers in desalination and know exactly how to turn Iran into a country with abundant water.

About a decade ago, I created a Telegram channel in Farsi to teach Iranians water management. Hundreds of thousands of Iranians joined it in those early days. The thirst for water in Iran is only matched by the thirst for freedom, and this is excellent news. As soon as Iran is freed, Israel’s top water experts will come to all Iranian cities with the most advanced technologies and knowledge.

We will help Iran in water recycling and desalination. How will this happen? Imagine skiing on water again with your families at Karaj Dam. Imagine walking hand in hand with your loved ones along the Farahzad River, a river that is dry today. Imagine the thirsty trees of Niavaran and Darband having as much water as the trees at Revolutionary Guard bases.

Imagine Lake Urmia, which was once stunning, coming back to life in northwestern Iran. This is not a dream; this can be reality. But your dictators, instead of building such a future, have imposed oppression and poverty on you, just as they impose war on us.

For 46 years, you have been deprived of the most basic human rights—the right to free speech, to write, to speak, and to read whatever you wish. I have books by Iranians, prominent Iranian dissidents who write the truth and speak the truth; but these books are published outside Iran. Such repression, such oppression. You are the descendants of Cyrus the Great and deserve far more than this. You don’t deserve leaders who flee the country in times of war and leave you alone.

Naderi and Navidi could have been sources of pride for Iran; instead, they were killed and exiled. This regime has destroyed the country’s wealth. The despots of Tehran preferred to send hundreds of billions of dollars to Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis instead of building hospitals, schools, and roads for you. This situation must not continue. I am asking you to be brave, to be courageous, and to dare to dream. Take risks for freedom, for your future, for your families. It’s worth taking to the streets and demanding justice. Hold your government accountable, protest oppression, and build a better future for your families and all Iranians.

Do not let these bigoted clerics destroy your lives for even one more minute, and know that you are not alone. I am with you, Israel is with you, the entire free world is with you. The oppressors—so cruel, so hard-hearted, and so cowardly—of Tehran will not endure. You know this; history will record it. Soon your country will be free, water will flow abundantly, your economy will revive, and your children will be happy and at peace again. Just as the founder of our nation, Theodor Herzl, said about the Jewish state: if you will it, it is no dream. I likewise tell you, if you will it, a free Iran is no dream. Now is the time for action, now is the time to fight for freedom. Iran for Iranians.”

Naftali Bennett, former Prime Minister of Israel, also released a similar message, describing Iran’s current situation as tragic, saying: “Your poets once spoke of rivers and beautiful gardens, but today those resources have dried up. Your government uses resources for military programs instead of the welfare of the people.” He called on the Iranian people to choose between continued war or a path of peace and cooperation, and promised that “one day, Israel will share its technologies with the Iranian people to improve access to water resources.”

Meanwhile, Waleed Gaddban, advisor to Israel’s permanent representative to the United Nations, posted a message on social media calling on the Iranian people to take to the streets and emphasizing that Israel is ready to help. Gila Gamliel, Israel’s Minister of Science and Technology, also wrote: “Netanyahu’s message is clear: as soon as freedom is achieved, Israel will be by your side and advanced water recycling technologies will pave the way for a sustainable and secure future for you.”
