Statement Issued Against Threats by Islamic Republic Intelligence Agencies in Europe and America

The United States and European countries have issued a statement against threats by Islamic Republic intelligence agencies in Europe and America.
The United States and 13 European countries issued a joint statement last Thursday, July 31, equivalent to August 9, following threats by Islamic Republic agencies regarding the abduction and killing of individuals in America and Europe. In this statement issued by the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Czech Republic, Belgium, Austria, and Albania, it stated: “We collectively condemn the intelligence efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran to kill, abduct, and harass individuals in Europe and North America, which is a clear violation of the sovereignty of our countries.”
The aforementioned countries, while referring to the cooperation of Islamic Republic intelligence organizations with international criminal and terrorist organizations that target journalists, Jews, Christians, system opponents, and current and former officials of Europe and North America, described these threats as “unacceptable.”
In another section of this statement, it was written: “We consider these types of attacks, regardless of their targets, to be violations of our national sovereignty. We are committed to cooperation to prevent the occurrence of such actions.”
The signatory countries of this statement emphasized that the actions of the Islamic Republic are not limited only to official institutions, but rather their cooperation with international criminal networks is increasing, and added: “Given that the Islamic Republic’s cooperation with international terrorist and criminal networks has made the level of threat more complex and dangerous, the authorities of the Islamic Republic must immediately cease engaging in such illegal activities.”
