Ali Khamenei: ‘Islamic Republic Demonstrated Its Strength After War with Israel’

Ali Khamenei spoke about the consolidation of the Islamic Republic following the war with Israel at a ceremony commemorating military commanders.
On Tuesday, July 29, corresponding to July 29 in the Persian calendar, marking the fortieth day since the death of a group of nuclear officials and military commanders of the Islamic Republic, Ali Khamenei attended the ceremony and delivered remarks.
At this ceremony, emphasizing the consolidation of the Islamic Republic during the twelve-day war between Israel and Iran, he said: “In addition to the great achievements that the Iranian nation has gained, which people around the world now acknowledge, the Islamic Republic and the dear nation of Iran demonstrated their power, determination, resolve, steadfastness, and full capacity to the world. These events were not unprecedented for us, and the Islamic Republic over the past 46 years, in addition to the eight-year war, has repeatedly faced situations such as coups, various military, political and security plots, and coercion of weak-willed individuals to act against the people, and has neutralized all enemy conspiracies. If others heard something from afar, they felt the power of the Islamic Republic up close.”
Ali Khamenei also commented on Israeli and American attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, saying: “What they present as nuclear issues, uranium enrichment, and human rights is merely a pretext, and the real reason is their displeasure and opposition to the emergence of new discourse and the capabilities of the Islamic Republic in various scientific, human knowledge, technical, and religious fields.”
He also emphasized that the Iranian nation will not abandon its religion and knowledge, saying: “We will take great steps in strengthening our faith and expanding and deepening our various knowledge, and we will be able to bring Iran to the pinnacle of progress and glory despite the enemy’s blindness.”
Mahdieh Shadmani, daughter of Ali Shadmani, former commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Quds Force Base, also spoke about her father at this ceremony, saying: “My father was killed in direct pursuit and conflict with the Zionist regime in Tehran, but the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps had announced that his death was caused by the bombing of this base.” She also quoted her mother as saying: “My mother said I have waited 47 years for such a moment that your father achieved his wish for martyrdom.”
