Prince Reza Pahlavi: Join the Magnificent United Front of Truck Drivers

Prince Reza Pahlavi called on the Iranian people to join the strike and magnificent united front of truck drivers.
The truck drivers’ strike began on May 19th in Bandar Abbas and spread to other cities, so that after two weeks, these strikes have engulfed Iran from north to south and east to west, which in addition to disrupting imports and exports of goods, has broken the backbone of the economy in Iran.
The head of the truck drivers’ union, despite the arrest and prosecution of some truck drivers, announced in a message in recent days to the government that these strikes will continue until the current situation is fully addressed.
Prince Reza Pahlavi, while expressing hope for reaching a free country with a prosperous and just economy for all Iranians, while supporting the truck drivers’ strike, encouraged the Iranian people to unite with the truck drivers and join the ranks of nationwide strikes and continue the strike until the fall of the Islamic Republic regime.
Prince Pahlavi, while posting a message about the truck drivers’ strike on the social network X, also released an audio message and said: “Brave truck drivers of Iran, for more than 10 days you have made your voice of justice heard through your strike. You are the backbone of Iran’s economy, but for years your share has been only inflation, debt, worn-out trucks, and suppression.
The time has come for this injustice and tyranny to end once and for all. The Islamic Republic is a mafia regime and corrupt system that neither has the ability to solve problems nor the will to do so. They only think about maintaining power and plundering the nation’s wealth. This system is the enemy of our livelihood, dignity, and freedom; it is the enemy of Iran. They have stolen our wealth and spend it on terrorism and their destructive ideology outside our borders and on suppression and persecution of the people inside.”
Reza Pahlavi also, while pointing to economic corruption and the life of regime officials’ children and their rent-seeking, added: “Take a look at the lives of so-called ‘agha-zadeh’ elites. Less than two percent of a minority has taken hostage and destroyed the lives of 98 percent of the nation.”
Prince Reza once again addressed the truck drivers: “You noble truck drivers, relying on your vast numbers and logistical power, can be the spark of a great national transformation. This time, do not fall for empty promises. These lying criminals are waiting for your strike to end so they can suppress you. If we all stand together—transportation, workers, teachers, nurses, bakers, farmers, retirees, and merchants—we can remove this criminal regime and build a future in which no one worries about bread for the night, fuel, and water and electricity cuts.”
He also, while encouraging the Iranian people to join the strikes, continued addressing them: “I call upon all Iranian citizens to join the magnificent united front of truck drivers and continue the nationwide strikes until the destruction of this criminal and occupation regime. To reach a bright future, a free country with a prosperous and just economy for all Iranians. If we become one, we will win.”
