Prince Reza Pahlavi Addresses Regime Forces: Separate Your Path from Them and Join the People

Prince Reza Pahlavi, following Israel’s attack on Iran, called on regime forces to separate their path from the system and join the people.

Following Israel’s attack in the early morning hours of Friday, June 13 (June 23 in Persian calendar), Prince Reza Pahlavi posted a message on the social media platform X, calling on military and security forces to abandon the Islamic Republic regime and join the Iranian people.

In this message, he wrote: “My message to the military, law enforcement, and security forces is clear. This regime and its corrupt and incompetent leaders value neither your lives nor our Iran. Separate your path from them and join the people. Ali Khamenei, the unwise leader of the anti-Iranian Islamic Republic regime, has once again dragged our Iran into war; a war that is not Iran’s war and the Iranian nation’s war, but the Islamic Republic’s and Khamenei’s war.

The Iranian nation’s struggle with the destructive Islamic Republic regime is to reclaim Iran and rebuild it. The solution is the overthrow of the Islamic Republic through street protests and nationwide strikes. In these difficult moments, I stand beside you. We are all together in this struggle and we will prevail.”

Reza Pahlavi also posted last night, following the approval of a resolution by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency against Iran, in his personal social media accounts: “There is only one real solution to end Iran’s current crisis: supporting the Iranian people to overthrow a regime that has taken both our Iran and the world hostage.

The Islamic Republic has plundered the wealth of the Iranian nation and, instead of providing welfare, security, and livelihood for the people, has spent hundreds of billions of dollars on uranium enrichment and its hidden and adventurous nuclear projects, consequently bringing our dear Iran to the brink of war. This regime tried for a long time to deceive the world, but now its true nature and face have been revealed to all.

The time has come for the Islamic Republic to be held accountable. During the Pahlavi era, Iran was among the original signatories of the NPT Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, but today the International Atomic Energy Agency has ruled that the Islamic Republic has violated this treaty.”

The Prince also added: “In response to this documented disclosure, Khamenei and his criminal mafia have brazenly announced that they are building new enrichment facilities. These actions, from continued NPT violations to threats of withdrawal, once again prove that the Islamic Republic regime is neither trustworthy nor a negotiating partner. Any interaction with this regime only leads to its strengthening. However, facing this illegitimate regime stands a real and hopeful alternative force: the Iranian people. A people who desire a future without fear, peaceful and based on constructive cooperation with the world.”

In concluding his message, he emphasized: “Now is the time for the world to pursue two complementary actions. Applying maximum pressure on the Islamic Republic regime, including activating the ‘trigger mechanism,’ with the aim of restoring UN Security Council resolutions and sanctions, while simultaneously providing maximum support to the Iranian people, the greatest enemy of this regime, who courageously and steadfastly struggle for freedom and the reclamation of their country.”
