Ali Khamenei: Zionists and America Cannot Make Any Mistake Regarding Our Nuclear Industry

Ali Khamenei, addressing Israel and America, stated that they cannot make any mistake regarding Iran’s nuclear industry.
On Wednesday, June 4th, marking the 36th anniversary of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini’s death, Ali Khamenei said in his speech, referring to America’s message that it will not allow Iran to enrich uranium: “The first demand of the Americans is that you should not have a nuclear industry at all. Listen! The rude and arrogant leaders of America repeat this demand in various languages.”
He further added: “Our response to the nonsensical claims of America’s chaotic and incompetent government is clear; it is clear what answer we give. Those who are in power today, the Zionists and Americans, they should also know that in this matter, they cannot make any mistake.”
While emphasizing that Iran possesses a complete nuclear fuel cycle, Ali Khamenei stated: “Uranium enrichment is the key to the nuclear issue, and the enemies have also focused on enrichment, and in the nuclear matter, America’s plan is 100 percent against ‘we can.”
Donald Trump, regarding Iran’s nuclear program and uranium enrichment, had said that Iran must have zero enrichment in any nuclear agreement with the United States and should import uranium from abroad for its non-military nuclear program. Ali Khamenei, in response to Trump’s remarks, said: “America does not want Iran to have a nuclear industry. Why are you interfering? Whether Iran has enrichment or not, what is it to you? What is your business?”
According to the latest report from the International Atomic Energy Agency, as of May 17 of this year, Iran has stockpiled approximately 408.6 kilograms of uranium enriched to up to 60 percent. This figure increased by approximately 134 kilograms, equivalent to about 50 percent, compared to the previous report from the International Atomic Energy Agency in February. Rafael Grossi, Director General of the Agency, also stated that Iran’s uranium reserves, if enriched to higher purity, would be sufficient to produce at least six atomic bombs.
Although five rounds of negotiations between Iran and the United States have taken place, the issue of enrichment in these negotiations has reached a deadlock, such that the United States and Western countries are concerned that Iran, with the uranium reserves it possesses, has the capability to produce nuclear weapons, but the Islamic Republic has repeatedly denied this.
Karine Jean-Pierre, White House spokesperson, also said on Tuesday, June 3rd, in an interview with reporters: “Vitkoff presented a detailed and acceptable proposal to the Iranian regime, and President Donald Trump hopes they will accept it, otherwise they will face serious consequences.”
