Prince Reza Pahlavi Invites Iranian People to Participate in Chaharshanbeh Suri Celebration

Prince Reza Pahlavi, on the eve of Chaharshanbeh Suri, invited the Iranian people to gather for this ancient celebration.

Prince Reza Pahlavi, through a message on his personal Telegram page, invited the Iranian people to come together on the last Wednesday of the year by holding the Chaharshanbeh Suri festival and ceremony, celebrating this tradition as a symbol of “the triumph of light over darkness.”

In this message addressed to the Iranian nation, he wrote: “This year, more enthusiastically than ever, on the night of Chaharshanbeh Suri, we gather together honoring our ancestors’ culture, and kindle the fire of national solidarity as a symbol of the end of winter and the victory of light over darkness. It is good that along with celebration and singing, the name of Iran and the sweet melody of ‘O Iran, O Land of Gems’ echo throughout our beloved homeland.”

Prince Pahlavi’s press office also wrote on Sunday, March 16, quoting him: “National and ancient celebrations have been, for thousands of years, symbols of the identity and unity of us Iranians and tools for our nation’s resistance against those who occupied Iran.”
