Tehran Prosecutor Presses Charges Against ‘Hammiham’ Newspaper

The Tehran Prosecutor has pressed charges against ‘Hammiham’ newspaper for publishing a cartoon.
Hammiham newspaper published a cartoon related to the government’s promises regarding lifting filtering, a matter that provoked the reaction of authorities and led to charges being pressed against the newspaper by the Tehran Prosecutor.
According to information released by media outlets close to the Revolutionary Guards regarding this case, the Tehran Prosecutor has pressed charges against Hammiham newspaper for publishing a cartoon depicting one of the prophets of the Abrahamic religions (Job), which was related to government promises.
“Saberin News” also wrote about this case: “This cartoon was about a social issue, but it contained a cartoon about Prophet Job.”
