Assyrian Christian Parliament Member “Charlie Anwiyah Takieh” Supports “Farzaneh Sadegh”

“Charlie Anwiyah Takieh,” representative of Assyrian Christians in Parliament, while supporting “Farzaneh Sadegh,” called for gender-based perspectives to be set aside.
Charlie Anwiyah Takieh, representative of Assyrian and Chaldean Christians in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, in a conversation with journalists while supporting “Farzaneh Sadegh” as the proposed minister of Road and Urban Development, considered her a competent and capable individual and emphasized the importance of personal competencies and her positive performance.
Charlie Anwiyah, noting that the selection of Ms. Sadegh could lead to improving the situation of the Ministry of Road and Urban Development, praised her track record and successful performance, and considered her appointment a positive step for the advancement of this ministry. This parliament member added in his remarks to journalists: “People in society should be evaluated based on their performance and qualifications, and gender-based perspectives should not interfere in these decision-makings.”
He also called for parliament members to make decisions based on professional criteria and the competencies of Ms. Farzaneh Sadegh and expressed hope for a positive vote by the parliament.
