Pope Francis: We Need an International Treaty to Control Artificial Intelligence

Pope Francis, while expressing concern about the expansion of artificial intelligence, announced that we need an international treaty to control artificial intelligence.
Pope Francis, leader of Catholics worldwide, while expressing concern about the growing and increasing development of artificial intelligence, stated that artificial intelligence should be used within the framework of ethical principles.
Pope Francis is scheduled to participate in the G7 summit from June 13 to 15 in Italy and raise his request to curb artificial intelligence. Giorgia Meloni, president of the G7 summit to be held in Italy, will host the political leaders of Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, and the United States.
Pope Francis also dedicated his message about peace to artificial intelligence and emphasized that there is a need for an international treaty to ensure that artificial intelligence is used within the framework of ethical principles. It is believed that if artificial intelligence continues to advance at its current pace, in the not-too-distant future, we will witness threats in the areas of “human privacy, copyright law” and even human life in general.
Artificial intelligence, by enabling people in all fields and extraordinarily to create and produce anything that people need, has also created many concerns for religious leaders, which has prompted the entire world to find ways to curb and use it within a specific framework.
