Teaching Ban for Dr. Masoud Alia and Dr. Amir Maziar

Two university professors named Dr. Masoud Alia and Dr. Amir Maziar have been banned from teaching at the University of Art.
The University of Art has removed Dr. Masoud Alia and Dr. Amir Maziar from the course schedule for the next semester in the Philosophy department and banned them from teaching. Their courses have been transferred to other faculty members. It is worth noting that Masoud Alia and Amir Maziar were among the signatories of a statement by professors protesting the widespread detention of students.
Specialized and experienced professors at universities are being removed one after another, and their responsibilities are being transferred to unqualified individuals. The government of the Islamic Republic has declared people—including students, university professors, teachers, lawyers, doctors, ordinary citizens, and others—who have reacted to protests and stood in solidarity with one another as criminals, accusing and punishing them under various charges.
Lawyers who defend protesters, activists who oppose the Islamic Republic government, physicians who treat injured protesters free of charge, and others are all among those whom the system fears. Not only has the system arrested them for continuing activities that contradict its laws, but it also punishes and bans them from working.
