Locust Invasion of Laran Olia Village in Paveh County

Laran Olia village located in Paveh county has been hit by a locust swarm.

On Wednesday, June 24th, a video was shared on social media showing locusts attacking Olia village in Paveh county. The presence of locusts in the courtyards of houses and streets is so widespread that people cannot leave their homes.

The person who published the video said: “We have been in this situation for 40 days and no official has taken any action to solve this problem so far.”

The locust invasion has even disrupted the business and agricultural activities. Women and children are also unable to leave their homes, and officials have not taken any action regarding this problem in the aforementioned village.
