Appointment of “Vojehollah Fatahi” as Head of Office of “Vali Esmaili”, Parliamentary Representative in Gormi County

“Vojehollah Fatahi” has been appointed as Head of Office of “Vali Esmaili”, Parliamentary Representative in Gormi County in Moghan.

Vojehollah Fatahi was previously the Secretary of the Prayer Establishment Headquarters of Gormi County administration. Last year, he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl, causing her severe physical and psychological harm.

The 15-year-old girl was hospitalized in the province’s hospital due to the severity of her injuries. Due to widespread public outrage in Gormi County, Vojehollah Fatahi was forced to live in hiding for six months. Through his influence in intelligence and judicial institutions and by threatening the girl’s family, he coerced them into silence and prevented them from filing a complaint.

Astonishingly to the people of Gormi, despite the crime he committed against the 15-year-old girl, he has now been appointed as Head of Office of Vali Esmaili, Parliamentary Representative, in Gormi County in Moghan and has assumed his position.

This incident has triggered a widespread public reaction. The people of Gormi have recalled the crime of Mr. Tusi and stated that the more corruption spreads among officials, the more entrenched their positions become. With incidents occurring daily under the regime, this has further strengthened the people’s unity and solidarity regarding the continuation of the revolutionary uprising.
