Political Activist Khadijah Mahdi Pour Summoned to Execute Prison Sentence

Khadijah Mahdi Pour, a political activist and former prisoner, has been summoned to the enforcement branch of Ilam Court to execute her prison sentence.
Khadijah Mahdi Pour is a political activist and former Kurdish prisoner from Ivan Gharb city in Ilam Province. She was arrested in her uncle’s home by security forces in September 2021 and transferred to Ilam Central Prison. Ms. Mahdi Pour was serving her 20-month prison sentence when she was forcibly released from the prison without prior notice in February 2023.
Ms. Mahdi Pour was convicted by Branch 103 of Ilam General and Revolutionary Court on charges of “spreading false information” and sentenced to 3 months of discretionary imprisonment. Now, after several months of release, she has been summoned to the enforcement branch of Ilam Court to execute her prison sentence through a notice she received on Monday, July 10th.
From the date the notice is registered in the Sana system, Ms. Mahdi Pour has 10 days to appear at the enforcement branch to execute the sentence.
It is worth noting that she was arrested in September 2020 by security forces for her activity on social media and was sentenced by Ilam Revolutionary Court to pay a fine of 3 million tomans.
