Arrest of Hossein Yazdi, Isfahan Journalist

Hossein Yazdi, an Isfahan journalist, was arrested after appearing at the Isfahan Prosecutor’s Office.
According to Saba Yazdi, the daughter of Hossein Yazdi, while confirming the published reports about her father’s arrest, she stated: “A few days ago, my father was contacted and summoned to the Isfahan Prosecutor’s Office. A written notice was also sent to him stating that he should appear at the Isfahan Prosecutor’s Office today (Tuesday, July 4). My father went to the prosecutor’s office at 9 in the morning and called a few minutes later saying that he had been arrested.”
According to Saba Yazdi’s statement, the charges against her father were propaganda against the system, but from her perspective, another issue had occurred, as Hossein Yazdi had stated in his contact that the judge initially issued a 900 million toman bail for him, but then demanded his arrest.
Hossein Yazdi has now been transferred to ward “Alef Ta” of Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan, a ward under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Intelligence.
