Prince Reza Pahlavi: Mansoureh Segvand’s Legacy ‘Bought Danger at the Cost of Life’

Prince Reza Pahlavi commented on the death of “Mansoureh Segvand,” writing: Mansoureh Segvand’s legacy bought danger at the cost of her life.

Mansoureh Segvand, an honorary former member of law enforcement who ended her cooperation with the police force following the start of protests, died under suspicious circumstances on Sunday, with her cause of death announced as cardiac and respiratory arrest.

The mourning ceremony and funeral procession, held on the third and seventh days after her death, will take place today on Tuesday, the 16th of Khordad. Prince Reza Pahlavi, posting an image of Mansoureh Segvand on his personal Telegram page, wrote: “Mansoureh Segvand’s legacy bought danger at the cost of her life. She bravely stood against Khamenei and his criminal regime and ultimately sacrificed her life for Iran. Words and language fall short of expressing such bravery.”

While expressing condolences to Segvand’s family, Prince Pahlavi called on compatriots in Lorestan province and neighboring provinces to participate in the burial ceremony of Iran’s daughter, Mansoureh Segvand, on the morning of Tuesday, the 16th of Khordad. He also addressed the Islamic Republic regime, writing: “The regime and its mercenaries should know that this crime will not be forgotten, and any disruption to the burial ceremony and any harassment of her grieving family will only further ignite the rage of the Iranian people.”
