“Gilad Erdan”: No Place for Representative of Iran’s Terrorist Regime in the United Nations

“Gilad Erdan,” Israel’s representative, responded to Abdollahian’s presence at the United Nations by stating: There is no place for a representative of Iran’s terrorist regime in the United Nations.
Last Thursday, October 26, a session of the United Nations General Assembly was held in New York for international consultations regarding the situation of Palestine and Israel. Representatives from other countries, including Iran, were present at the meeting.
Gilad Erdan, Israel’s representative at the meeting, reacted to Hossein Amirabdollahian’s presence at the United Nations and, while referring to the situation in Iran and the killing of many unarmed and innocent Iranian people, said: “Colleagues, this resolution is not the only thing that is far from reality today. Shortly after, the representative of the demonic regime that provided training, budget, and weapons to Hamas for the October 7 attack will speak to you.
The Ayatollah regime in Iran has the blood of thousands of Israelis on its hands. It has the blood of hundreds of thousands of suppressed Iranians, Ukrainians, Americans, Emiratis, and many others on its hands. Based on reliable evidence, Iran is recognized as the number one state in support of terrorism.
It is perfectly natural that the foreign minister of this criminal regime speaks after proposing this resolution. A country with Nazi ideology that publicly speaks about destroying Israel stands alongside its proxy Hamas, which holds the same Nazi ideology for destroying Israel. Surely this is completely understandable.
A few days ago, he met with representatives of Hamas and its allied terrorist group Islamic Jihad. He thanked them for their killings, and today he is here to poison your ears. Surely an alliance for peace, an alliance for tearing apart every single Israeli. This criminal man and every representative of Iran’s terrorist regime have no place among the United Nations and the family of nations. This is a moral stain on the United Nations and its fundamental values.”
Hossein Amirabdollahian, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, also addressed the meeting, referring to Hamas’s readiness to free civilian prisoners, making remarks regarding the Israel-Gaza war as follows: “I state clearly that we do not welcome the expansion and scope of war in the region, but we warn that if genocide in Gaza continues, they themselves will not be safe from this fire. That is our home, West Asia is our region. In the security of our home, we have no reservations with any party.
We strongly warn about the uncontrollable consequences of the unlimited financial, military, and operational support from the White House for the Tel Aviv regime, which has resulted in the intensification of bombings of Palestinian civilians, women, and children in Gaza and the West Bank.”
Amirabdollahian emphasized Hamas’s legitimate right to fight against occupation and added: “The Palestinian liberation movement Hamas, in accordance with international law, fights against occupation and has a legitimate right. Hamas is ready to free civilian prisoners. The world must simultaneously support the freedom of six thousand Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli regime prisons.”
