Arrest of at Least Ten Baloch Citizens by Security Forces

At least ten Baloch citizens in Zahedan were arrested by security forces following protests that took place the previous day.

The people of Zahedan have not abandoned the protest scene since the demonstrations began, but rather, despite the large number of casualties they have suffered, they continue to take to the streets every day. They also continue their gatherings and marches every Friday after congregational prayers with protest and revolutionary slogans.

On Friday, the 12th of Khordad, the people of Zahedan took to the streets after the conclusion of congregational prayers and protested with slogans including “Mawlana with honor, your word is the people’s word,” “Execution republic, we don’t want, we don’t want,” “By the blood of our companions, we stand until the end,” and “From Zahedan to Tehran, I sacrifice my life for Iran,” expressing their opposition to the system and solidarity with the Iranian people in pursuit of victory in the popular revolution.

At least 10 young citizens were arrested and detained by the regime’s security forces during these protests. It is worth noting that since the previous day until now, no information is available regarding the place of detention and custody, nor regarding the charges brought against them.
