Political Activist ‘Mohammad Mahajeri’ Responds to ‘Qalibaf’s Complaint Against ‘Ishhaq Jahangiri’

Political activist “Mohammad Mahajeri” has responded to “Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf’s” complaint against “Ishhaq Jahangiri” after 6 years.
Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf filed a complaint against Ishhaq Jahangiri in an unusual move in Esfand of last year (1401) regarding his statements in the 96 election debate, and his complaint is set to be reviewed in the coming days. There is no available information about why Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf filed a complaint against Ishhaq Jahangiri after 6 years had passed.
Regarding this complaint, political activist and principalist Mohammad Mahajeri published a text about it on his Telegram channel. Mahajeri wrote in this regard: “Mr. Qalibaf, greetings. I saw news that you recently remembered to file a complaint against Mr. Ishhaq Jahangiri over statements he made 6 years ago in the election debate.
I felt it wouldn’t hurt you to take a trip into the past as well. For this reason, and so that you can prove to your opponents that time not only does not eliminate the need for transparency but you also truly and actively believe in this matter, I invite you to a dialogue with questions about the ‘Yas Project’ which you know about and we know what happened to it. Also, the story of the astronomical properties of Tehran Municipality and managing Tehran at a very high cost, and the matter of your deputy Mr. Sharifi.
Certainly, this dialogue could upset and challenge you with its questions, but in every way it will be to the benefit of your political credibility. If your complaint against Mr. Jahangiri takes place behind closed court doors and ends with a ruling issued by a judge, in the intended dialogue, millions of judges will grade your performance and test your success in the transparency exam. I eagerly await your response.”
It should be noted that the ‘Yas Holdings’ project was one of the largest corruption cases at City Hall, with reports showing that thousands of billions of Tehran citizens’ rights were trampled in these contracts. Moreover, although the initial prosecutor of this case confirmed all the findings of investigation and inspection reports, the prosecutor was changed and then, with the consent of the City Hall, a decision to discontinue prosecution was issued. Now the ‘Yas Holdings’ case lies dormant in the archives.
This case was archived after 15 months while Ayatollah Khamenei used the term “open wound” regarding corruption cases, which must be resolved, and the Yas Holdings case is one of these open wounds, and the City Hall should explain this matter to Tehran citizens.
With each passing day, not only are the curtains lifted on the regime’s crimes, but numerous embezzlements and thefts by regime officials are revealed one after another, and people become more awakened than before. This is how the collapse of a regime approaches its final days.
