17-Year-Old Mehrad Malak Killed After Being Shot in the Head
17-year-old Mehrad Malak, a resident of Ardak, lost his life after being shot in the head.
Last night, 17-year-old Mehrad Malak and his friend were returning from a farm when a police patrol vehicle became suspicious of them and began pursuing their car. However, the police vehicle got stuck in mud and stopped. Sergeant Ali Mahmoudinzhad fired shots toward their vehicle to stop Mehrad Malak and his friend, but unfortunately the bullet struck Mehrad in the head and he was killed.
Mehrad Malak’s funeral ceremony concluded a few hours ago at Ardak cemetery. The Malak family has been pressured to accept the official account.
People who publicized news of Mehrad’s death called on the honorable citizens of Qazvin, Takestan, Ardak, and all surrounding cities not to leave the Malak family alone. Unity and solidarity among the people will not allow the crimes of the Islamic Republic government to remain hidden and the killing of youths to be attributed to accidents, suicide, or other false narratives.
