Ashkan Marouti Speaks About His Condition in the Hospital

Ashkan Marouti, after spending several days in the hospital, posted a message on his Instagram page last night, speaking about his condition.
Ashkan Marouti is a martial artist from Sanandaj who, during recent months of protests, stood alone and courageously against the armed suppressors of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Azadi Square in the city of Sanandaj, and was subsequently shot, wounded, and detained.
Ashkan Marouti posted images of himself in the hospital on his Instagram page yesterday. These photos reveal the extent of injuries caused by gunshots to his body. Ashkan Marouti stated that over two hundred large buckshot pellets and two military bullets were fired at the femoral artery area of his leg, and he was struck with a baton at least one hundred times on his head.

In another post on his Instagram page, in addition to sharing his hospital discharge sheet on which the charge of moharebeh (enmity against God) is written, he said: “Water flows the same way whether from a small or large source. My life is not sacrificed once, but a hundred thousand times for Iran.”

He is currently free on a heavy bail and for medical treatment purposes. However, according to his own statements, Ashkan Marouti will not back down. Not only him, but all the people of Iran will not back down and will stand against the crimes of the Islamic Republic government.
