Arrest of “Abdullah Momeni” Political Activist by Security Forces

“Abdullah Momeni” a political activist was arrested today Thursday, the 7th of Ordibehesht by security forces.

Political activists are being arrested one after another by the Islamic Republic system and transferred to unknown locations. Abdullah Momeni, born in 1956, is a political activist and former head of the Takkim-e Vahdat (Unity Consolidation) office organization and spokesman for various periods of Takkim-e Vahdat.

Abdullah Momeni was arrested today Thursday, the 7th of Ordibehesht by security forces at his private residence and transferred to an unknown location. After searching his residence, security forces confiscated some of his personal belongings. It is worth noting that his Instagram page and Twitter account have also been taken offline.

So far, there is no available information regarding his place of detention and the reason for the charges against him.
