Hashmatolah Shirwani Killed by Government Forces

“Hashmatolah Shirwani,” a Lur Bakhtiari, was killed by government forces.

Hashmatolah Shirwani, a Lur Bakhtiari, was targeted by police forces at a checkpoint in Ahvaz over the past two nights and was shot and killed.

Videos posted today on social media pages of “Hashmatolah Shirwani” show that he was publishing poems on cyberspace in support of the popular revolution.

It appears his killing was premeditated. Those close to Hashmatolah stated that his recitation of poems in support of the popular revolution prompted government forces to identify and kill him.

The Islamic Republic government fears every action taken by the Iranian people for this movement and wants to continue its rule through massacring its opponents, unaware that the Iranian people have overcome their fears and have nothing left to lose.

The Bakhtiari people declared that we will neither forgive nor forget this killing carried out by the beasts of Khamenei’s rule, but rather we will seek revenge.
