People’s Joy Following Iran’s National Football Team’s Loss to America

Last night, for the first time, people in Iran in various cities were happy about their national football team’s loss to America.

Although Iran’s national team was eliminated from the World Cup following their defeat against America, last night we witnessed widespread presence of people across various cities celebrating and rejoicing over the national team’s loss. All the cities that had been suppressed by the Islamic Republic regime over the past 76 days did not retreat with the Iranian national football team’s loss to America, but instead took to the streets with joy and fire.

In Tehran, Boukan, Qom, Ahvaz, Sharif University students, Behbahan, Hamadan, Ardabil, Marivan, Jovanroud, Andimeshk, Mahabad, Zahedan, Karaj, and also in Kurdistan cities, people took to the streets and collectively engaged in Kurdish dancing to celebrate Iran’s national team’s loss, and told the Islamic Republic’s suppressive forces that this is what Kurdish dancing is, not those inharmonious movements you performed.

The Iranian people told the national football team that you betrayed the Iranian nation and the result of this betrayal was defeat.

Honorable Iranians also announced a message on social media to government forces and the leader of the Islamic Republic as follows: We previously told you that we are victorious. We beat the soldiers, crossed over the radical horses, and reached the king and the minister. Now we are witnessing the king’s moves (Khamenei’s order for reform). Only one move remains until checkmate. We are victorious, and the goal is clear: the destruction of the terrorist Islamic Republic. Checkmate!

However, other messages have been published on social networks that reveal another deception forming by the government. Many have reported that in various parts of Tehran, suppressive forces are greeting protesting people with flowers and sweets. This is the Islamic Republic’s new scenario to deceive the truth-seeking team of human rights organizations.

Will the awakened, honorable, and noble Iranian people, who for about three months have sacrificed their lives and property and taken to the streets for justice and victory of right over injustice and darkness, fall for this new scenario of the Islamic Republic regime and stop their protests? Or will they continue in the streets until they achieve justice and overthrow this regime?
