Nationwide Protests; 9 Citizens Arrested in Various Cities

Hrana News Agency – In recent days, 9 citizens were arrested by security forces during nationwide protests in the cities of Mazandaran, Qazvin, Tehran, and Chabahar. Among these citizens, one person was transferred to Evin Prison.
According to Hrana News Agency, citing reports from student professional associations across the country, 4 students were arrested in recent days.
The identities of these students are listed as: “Mahdi Velayati, bachelor’s student of chemical engineering at Babol Noshirvani University of Technology, Mirshaheen Fatemi, master’s student of cultural studies at Science and Culture University, Hamed Khalili, master’s student of political science at Qazvin International University, and Mohammad Javad Khajavi, film student at Pars University of Architecture and Art.”
Mahdi Velayati was arrested on Monday, Mehr 11, in Mazandaran, Mirshaheen Fatemi on Tuesday, Mehr 12, at her residence in Tehran, Hamed Khalili more than 7 days ago, and Mohammad Javad Khajavi on Tuesday, Shahrivar 29.
Among these students, Mohammad Javad Khajavi was transferred to Evin Prison.
Arrest of 5 Women in Chabahar City
According to Halash News, on Wednesday, Mehr 6, 1401, during nationwide protests, 5 women were arrested in Chabahar.
The identities of 3 of these citizens are listed as: “Fatima Baluch Kari, Mitra Amorzahi, 17-year-old with epilepsy, and Sara Baluch, 20-year-old.”
In this report, citing an informed source, it states: “The Chabahar intelligence office told the families of the detainees not to publicize the arrest so that we would release them on Saturday, Mehr 9. However, two days ago, on Mehr 9, they were transferred to Zahedan.”
The source added: “Mitra had a history of epilepsy and during these days of detention, due to lack of access to her necessary medications, she had several seizures, including on Monday, Mehr 11, in the detention center.”
