The Islamic Republic Came to an End with November 2019

The people’s desire for the overthrow and end of the Islamic Republic did not occur from the protests in September of this year; rather, this demand and these protests began in November 2019 and have continued to the present day.
The November 2019 protests in Iran, or the Bloody November, were a series of popular and anti-government protests across Iran that began on November 15, 2019, following the reimposition of fuel rationing in Iran and a 200 percent increase in gasoline prices; such that provinces and hundreds of cities experienced unrest following the fuel price hike.
These protests were peaceful in nature, initially starting in response to the fuel price increase and then targeting the Islamic Republic system. Various social and economic factors, distrust, and public dissatisfaction with living conditions led to the formation of these protests. In the continuation of these protests, the Reuters news agency wrote in its special report in December 2019: Khamenei, in a meeting with security and government officials, asked them to stop the people’s protests at any cost.
However, these grievances and crackdowns by the Islamic Republic did not end at that time but continued. After the November 2019 protests, Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 was targeted by two Iranian missiles in December 2019, killing all 176 passengers on the flight.
After that, in January 2020, the coronavirus pandemic began to spread in Iran, and due to insufficient preparations and failure to provide vaccines, a large number of people lost their lives.
In 2020, in addition to deaths from COVID-19, a group of residents of Ghezaniye in Ahvaz protested the lack of piped drinking water, and their gathering was met with violence and the intervention of special forces. Some also lost their lives in these protests.
In March 2021, a massive fire broke out in the palm groves, mango, and orange orchards of the Siyahoo district, and even after a year had passed since this incident, its cause had not been determined. However, this fire was not limited to this district but continued to occur in several other cities until December with unknown causes.
After that, dust and sandstorms occurred in Yazd, Sistan and Baluchestan, and several other cities. Storms whose origin remained unclear.
As for 2022, it was a year full of tensions and protests. A year that began with the collapse of another building like the Plasco collapse. The collapse of the Metropol twin towers in Abadan in June of this year, resulting in the death of many citizens and unemployment of merchants, was another tragic event whose cause was announced to be structural failure due to violation of technical regulations and standards.
People who had endured all the lies, hardships, problems, and unfortunate events of previous years in their hearts could not remain silent with an even more unfortunate event and raised their voices demanding justice and freedom.
Following the killing of Mahsa (Zhina) Amini in September of this year, people could not remain silent. They had grown weary of all the injustice that had occurred in Iran over the years from 2019 to now by the Islamic Republic regime, and in protest and pursuit of justice, they took to the streets with clenched fists. The justice-seeking people clearly stated that they no longer want the Islamic Republic regime. They courageously stood against the oppression of the Islamic Republic government at the cost of their blood and demanded the overthrow of this regime.
Now the people of Iran in unity and solidarity seek a free Iran. They declared that Iran’s victory against oppression is near, we will give our lives to reclaim Iran. The Islamic Republic government also knows that it stands on the brink of a cliff and could fall at any moment.
