A woman was shot and killed by her husband in Qom on Wednesday, the 15th of Tir.
According to Hrana news agency citing IRNA, on Wednesday, the 15th of Tir 1401, a woman was shot and killed by her husband in Qom.
According to the report, after committing the murder, the victim’s husband attempted suicide and was “immediately transferred to Nokhastein Hospital in Qom and received medical treatment.”
Colonel Valialah Torabi commented on the incident, saying: “Around 15:25 today, a 30-year-old man shot and killed his 24-year-old wife.”
Torabi added: “The killing was carried out with a personal firearm, and investigations are underway regarding how the perpetrator obtained this weapon.”
The motive for this act has been attributed to family disputes.
