2 Years Prison Sentence for Slogan ‘Khamenei Dahak, We’ll Kill You Underground’

“Sepideh Gulian” was sentenced to 2 years in prison for the slogan “Khamenei Dahak, we’ll kill you underground.”
Sepideh Gulian, a civil activist and political prisoner who had been sentenced to prison in connection with the “Haft Tappeh” case, was released from prison after completing her sentence in March 2023. After her release, Sepideh chanted a slogan against Ali Khamenei in front of the prison gates with the message “Khamenei Dahak, we’ll kill you underground,” which caused her to be arrested again just hours later by regime forces on her way home and transferred back to prison.
“Mehdi Gulian,” Sepideh’s brother, wrote in a post on his Instagram page: “Sepideh has been sentenced to two years in prison for a slogan she chanted in front of the prison gates after her release.”
The regime fears even a single slogan and arrests those who chant revolutionary slogans against the system. Sepideh Gulian also announced that she will not participate in any court proceedings regarding her case and will not recognize the issued verdicts.
