Nationwide Protests; Seven Citizens Arrested by Security Forces in Various Cities

Hrana News Agency – In recent days, seven citizens including two students and one person protesting mandatory hijab have been arrested by security forces in the cities of Tehran, Zanjan, and Kamyaran.
According to Hrana News Agency citing Kurdpa, in recent days, four citizens in Kamyaran county have been arrested by security forces.
In this report, the identities of these citizens are listed as Farzin Mofaghi, Khabbat Mozaffari, Amir Nadimi, and Milad Kamangar.
Mr. Kamangar’s arrest took place on the morning of Monday, September 4th, at his home and accompanied by beating.
In another report, the National Students’ Professional Council announced the arrest of two students named Shaho Bayzidi, a philosophy student at Allameh Tabataba’i University, and Mohammad Saleh Hamayouni, a pharmacy student at Shahid Beheshti University.
Mr. Bayzidi was arrested by security police on Monday, September 28th, and is currently detained in Greater Tehran Prison.
It is reported that this student was beaten during arrest and injured on his face. Also, the other detained student Mohammad Saleh Hamayouni has been transferred to Greater Tehran Prison after his arrest.
Likewise, ISNA news agency announced in a report: “A person who set fire to her own headscarf in Zanjan has been arrested.”
As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the charges against these citizens.
The September 1401 protests are referred to as a collection of nationwide protests that began on September 26th following the death of 22-year-old Mhsa (Zhina) Amini as a result of the actions of the morality police patrol in Tehran and expanded to at least 85 cities and 18 universities from 29 provinces of the country by October 1st, 1401. These ongoing protests have so far resulted in the arrest of hundreds of people and the killing and wounding of dozens of protesters including children.
Media outlets close to security institutions, by accusing the accused of violence, have published forced confessions from some of those arrested. Additionally, the Iranian government has disrupted the internet nationwide in the residential sector and on mobile phones.
