System Officials on Alert Due to Possible Death of Armita Garavand

Officials of the Islamic Republic system are on alert due to the possible death of Armita Garavand, who remains in a coma.

After 4 days of Armita remaining in a coma, no news of any change in her condition or consciousness has emerged, and Fajr Hospital and the intensive care unit remain under security measures. Regarding the incident that occurred to Armita, an interview was conducted with her family, in which it appears threats were made and the family is under pressure. In the aforementioned interview, Armita’s mother was present along with another person whose relationship to the family is unclear, and this person explains the incident. It appears Armita’s mother was not allowed to speak freely in this interview; as soon as she mentioned seeing the videos, the person in question interrupted her and continued speaking himself. Her father also announced he has no information about his daughter and only knows that she is in a coma.

Freedom-seeking people in Tehran also created a graffiti portrait of Armita Garavand yesterday and condemned this crime. Some foreign news agencies, in response to the lack of change in Armita’s condition, announced it is possible that Armita may have died and her death has been concealed, and if this has happened, her funeral will also be conducted in secret without notice, in which case her family should not remain silent under any circumstances.

The French magazine “Le Point” also reported regarding Armita: “The detention of a journalist in the hospital is indicative of the extreme sensitivity of this matter, and authorities are on high alert to prevent nationwide uprising in the event of her death.”

Also, according to eyewitnesses at Fajr Hospital today, Thursday, October 4th, the number of plainclothes officers at the hospital suddenly increased several-fold, and Fajr Hospital is under heavy control, as if other events are about to occur.

People across Iran, especially in Tehran, have also announced they are on alert to head to the hospital in the event of any incident and not allow the system to engage in cover-ups. People have also called on Armita’s relatives and the broader Garavand family to respond to fabricated interviews with the family and expose the crimes of the system’s officials.
