Chemical Attacks on Schools Resume

Chemical attacks on schools have resumed after several months of pause.

Last year, chemical attacks on schools and the poisoning of numerous students began following the surge of the popular uprising and continued until recent months. The aforementioned attacks on schools received no follow-up from the regime, and the reason for them remained unclear. These attacks, which affected many schools across Iran, ended on their own after several months.

According to “Hengaw,” today, Saturday, the 15th of Mehr month, chemical attacks on girls’ schools have resumed. Videos released this morning on social media networks indicate the poisoning of students at Ashura High School in “Qods City” in Tehran. According to eyewitnesses, chemical gas was released in the school, causing the poisoning of its students.

Some have suggested there may be a connection between today’s Hamas attacks on Israel and the chemical attacks on schools in Iran. It is expected that these attacks may continue at other schools, but so far no reports in this regard have been announced.
