766 Child Laborers Identified in Bushehr Province Over Past Year

Hrana News Agency – The Director General of Welfare in Bushehr Province announced the identification of 766 child laborers in the province over the past year.

According to Hrana News Agency’s report citing ISNA, the Director General of Welfare in Bushehr Province stated: Last year, 3,000 cases were reported to the social emergency services in various fields.

Hosein Asadi-Rad added: 842 of these contacts were in the field of family disputes, with the remainder related to child, spouse, and disabled person abuse and other cases.

The Director General of Welfare in Bushehr Province, noting that 766 child laborers were identified in the province last year, added: The member agencies of the Cabinet Resolution must cooperate with the Welfare Organization in organizing working and street children.
