Suicide of 16-Year-Old Teenager in Mahabad

On Saturday, Azar 20, a 16-year-old teenager in Mahabad committed suicide by consuming rice pills and lost his life. According to the Legal Medicine Organization, teenagers account for more than 7 percent of annual suicides in Iran.

According to Hrana news agency, the news organ of the Iranian human rights activists network, on Saturday, Azar 20, 1400, a teenage girl in Mahabad committed suicide.

The identity of this teenager, Dimen Bayzidi, daughter of Ismail, 16 years old and from Mahabad, has been confirmed by Hrana.

She committed suicide by consuming rice pills and lost her life.

There is no accurate information available about the reasons and motives behind this teenager’s suicide, however, it is said that the cause of this act was some family disputes.

According to the Legal Medicine Organization, teenagers account for more than 7 percent of annual suicides in Iran.
