Three Men Arrested on Charges of Sexual Assault Against a Teenage Boy in Tehran

Three men in Tehran have been arrested by law enforcement officers on charges of sexual assault and kidnapping of a 16-year-old boy.

According to a report by Hrana news agency, citing RONA, a 16-year-old boy in Tehran was sexually abused by three individuals.

The report states that the 16-year-old boy filed a complaint against three local youths on charges of kidnapping and sexual assault at Branch 6 of the Tehran Criminal Prosecution Office with a presiding investigator.

The complainant stated in his complaint: “I was sitting in a coffee shop located in Valieasr neighborhood when three local young men entered the place. They forced me into a white Pride car at gunpoint and took me to an unknown location. They sexually assaulted me and filmed me. Then they brought me back in front of the coffee shop and let me go.”

Following the complaint by the teenager, the suspects were traced and arrested but denied the charges against them. They claimed that the complainant had spoken badly about them behind their backs, and to punish him, they had kidnapped him and only slapped him once.

Police investigations in this matter are ongoing.
