Two Women Killed in Kerman and Hamadan After Rejecting Marriage Proposals

Two women in Kermanshah and Asadabad, Hamadan were killed in recent days by their suitors for “rejecting marriage proposals.”
According to Hrana news agency, citing Kurd Pa, on Thursday, November 13, 1400, a young woman in the Anahita neighborhood of Kermanshah was shot and killed by her suitor.
According to the report, the victim was identified as Arzoo Lotfi, a resident of Kermanshah.
Citing an informed source, the report states that the suspect, identified as “S.K.,” dragged the young woman onto the street. Following a staged accident, he got out of the vehicle and then shot her to death before fleeing the scene.
As of the time of this report’s preparation, the suspect had not been arrested.
Likewise, on November 14, a young woman in Asadabad, Hamadan was killed after rejecting a marriage proposal from her suitor.
The victim was identified as Negar Ahmadi, 27 years old, originally from Kermanshah, a master’s degree student, and a resident of Sari.
According to an informed source cited in the report, the suspect, who was a former classmate of Negar’s from university, abducted Negar on the day of the incident with the help of two of his friends, and then shot her multiple times on the Asadabad-Hamadan road, killing her, before turning himself in to police.
