Razavi Khorasan; Child Abuse Tops Social Emergency Reports
The Director General of Welfare in Razavi Khorasan announced the registration of 1,866 calls during the current year related to child abuse through the social emergency telephone system in the province. According to him, during the current year, child abuse reports rank first among public calls, with family disputes and spousal abuse ranking second and third respectively.
According to Hrana news agency, citing IRIB, the Director General of Welfare in Razavi Khorasan announced the registration of 1,866 calls during the current year related to child abuse through the social emergency telephone system in the province.
The Director General of Welfare in Razavi Khorasan said in this regard: “Following child abuse, family disputes and spousal abuse are respectively the most frequent topics of calls made by Khorasan citizens to the province’s social emergency telephone system since the beginning of this year.”
Masoud Firozi added: “11,535 calls have been received since the beginning of this year through line 123 of the social emergency system of the province’s welfare organization, with child abuse reports ranking first among public calls with 1,866 cases.”
He continued: “Additionally, family disputes with 1,470 calls and spousal abuse with 961 calls have held the second and third ranks among the most frequent calls to the social emergency system of Razavi Khorasan.”
