12-Year-Old Boy Commits Suicide in Takestan Babajanani

A 12-year-old boy from Jojar village, under the jurisdiction of the Central District of Takestan Babajanani city in Kermanshah Province, died by suicide through hanging for unknown reasons. According to the Legal Medicine Organization, adolescents’ share of annual suicides in Iran is reported to be over 7 percent.

According to Hrana news agency, citing Kurdistan Post, a 12-year-old boy in Takestan Babajanani city committed suicide by hanging and died.

The identity of the child has been confirmed as Mohammad Visi, son of Hassan, from Jojar village under the Central District of Takestan Babajanani city in Kermanshah Province.

This report does not mention the motivation behind his suicide.

According to the Legal Medicine Organization, adolescents’ share of annual suicides in Iran is reported to be over 7 percent.
