Biden Remains Winner After Georgia Vote Recount

Following Donald Trump’s protests and complaints, the electoral votes in Georgia were recounted. The results showed that Joe Biden received more than 12,000 more votes than Trump and continues to be recognized as the winning candidate in this state.
The votes in Georgia were recounted manually and with greater precision, and the results were announced Thursday evening (November 19/November 29). The more accurate vote count shows that in this state, Joe Biden obtained 12,284 more votes than Donald Trump.
During the vote recount process and the relative increase in their numbers, the difference between Joe Biden’s and Trump’s votes decreased slightly compared to before; Biden previously had approximately 14,000 more votes and now has more than 12,000 more votes than Trump.
The election committee emphasized that the added votes do not mean fraud, but rather votes from two districts that had not been counted before are now being included.
Since the difference between the two candidates’ votes is less than five percent, Trump can still request a vote recount.
Donald Trump continues to refuse to accept the election results and is urging his lawyers to file complaints and lawsuits with unsubstantiated and undocumented claims. For example, Trump’s defending lawyers have claimed that the Democratic Party, with the help of communists ruling Venezuela, manipulated the election process and vote count.
They also claim that software was used in the computer vote count that counted Trump’s votes in favor of Joe Biden.
Trump’s lawyers’ claims have failed in several courts so far. The latest example was Thursday (November 19) when their complaints in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Arizona were rejected.
Rudy Giuliani, an experienced lawyer and Trump’s trusted associate, intends to file more complaints to challenge the election results.
Joe Biden has strongly criticized Trump’s approach, saying that his position in not accepting the results of the November 3 election is “completely irresponsible” and damages democracy.
Joe Biden believes that Trump’s name will enter history books as the “most irresponsible President of the United States.”
